Download The Before Data Set

This form will assist you in downloading the various parts of the fsp database. The data in this form is only for the before data set - the data collected without the FSP tow trucks operating. A different form allows you to download the after data set.
WARNING: When Mosaic downloads files it first places them in a temporary system directory (usually /tmp or /var/tmp) and then it allows you to transfer them to a location of your choosing. On most systems this temporary storage area is limited because it is hardly ever used. Since some of the data files listed below are so big it is possible that there will not be enough room on your system disk to temporarily store the files. If this happens then you can still use Mosaic to download the data but you need to specify a different temporary directory. This can be done on the Mosaic command line:
	Mosaic -tmpdir /home/users/pettyk/my_data_dir
If you are using this option then you should make sure that there is enough space in the temporary directory that you have specified to hold the largest of the files (~70 Mbytes). If this doesn't work then you can always use anonymous ftp instead.

If you start to see system messages like:

Oct 25 01:42:08 paleale vmunix: /: file system full
Then this means that the temporary system directory is full and you won't be able to copy any more files. To fix this you need to change into the system directory and delete any temporary files that belong to you.

Downloading request:

All of the support software and data if freely available for you to download and to use as you wish. If you download the data we would appreciate it if you let us know. We are interested in seeing where the data gets used. We also request that if you publish something using this data that you send us a note and let us know when and where your paper was published.
